Autodesk Sketchbook Designer 2012-2013

Autodesk used to produce Sketchbook Designer since the 2013 version, then the program was discontinued and now it is only possible to purchase Sketchbook Pro. Even though the two programs have some similarity, they are not the same.

It may be the case that users at your company needs to use the Designer version because of the needs to save files in a particular format, or just because they are used to. What can you do if you have purchased the 2015 or 2014 version of it?

Luckily, enough Autodesk gives to license holders the chance to activate licenses on previous versions of the same software, up to three years before. Therefore, the only thing you need to do is to contact them by filling a form and then wait for the activation.

The saddest side of the things is that to contact Autodesk is not very easy. Via phone, you should be prepared to long queues and even to receive as a reply that no one can answer your phone at the moment; the chat is always busy, and sometimes the code you receive does not work and you have to follow some more step before being able to use the program. So, I suggest you to use the form that you can find at http://subscription.autodesk.com
