Go to Control Panel, Programs & Features, View Installed Updates, uninstall Internet Explorer 11

Reboot

Download and run the “System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [October 2014]”

Reboot (just to be sure)

Install whatever version of Internet Explorer 11 you want
